Confession: I've used/am using performance enhancing drugs

Not only have I used performance enhancing drugs in the past, I continue to use performance enhancing drugs on a daily basis.

When I wrote my best poetry, I was on a drug known as alcohol. I spent many sleepless nights abusing this performance enhancing drug when I suffered through slumps known commonly as "writer's block." When I was down and felt that my grade needed a boost, I turned to this drug time and time again for help. I am convinced that this drug helped me collect As in several poetry writing classes. I have also used this drug in my personal life as well. "Alcohol" is a proven stimulant of the mind while it also relaxes the body. The use of this drug in social settings allowed me to make conversational advances with members of the opposite sex that I found attractive.

I have also used "coffee" to improve my performance when necessary. On days in which I felt slugglish, sloppy, tired or just gosh darned lazy, I would inject "coffee" through my mouth and swallow. This helped boost my awareness while giving me the kind of energy I would need to complete the necessary tasks of the day (or night). The continued use of this drug has helped me overcome my shortcomings on several occasions when I felt as if I could not go on.

In closing, I do not regret using said performance enhancers and will continue to do so in the future. I would appreciate your support as I attempt to get through this rough patch of my life.

Thank you, and God Bless America!
