There are myriad reasons I hate Valentine's Day.
But I like baseball. Baseball is good. Baseball's been very, very good to me. Other than the whole 100 years of losing schtick, of course. Basketball's been very, very, very good to me. Three Missouri Valley Championships for SIU men's basketball, a trip to the Sweet 16 and this year (despite the 11-15 record) a trip to New York City (Madison Square Garden!), Indianapolis (to cover a Pacers/Clippers NBA game) and a newfound love for a that throws rolls at you.
Yeah. Love. Yeah. Not so much.
