Roses.
I just did a random poll of eight girls and only one of them said roses were their favorite flower. And that was yellow roses. No one's favorite flower is the classic red rose that is attributed to Valentine's Day. So since that is the case, why is America spending billions of dollars on roses this Valentine's Day.
And why do florists, convenience stores and random street vendors jacking up the price of these flowers 357% if they're not even a girl's best friend. Seriously. Here's an idea ... ask a girl what her favorite flower is ... do this preferably when you start dating her ... write it down in a place you will always remember ... probably where you keep your dirty mags or ex-girlfriends' numbers ... then when V-Day comes around you buy your girl $90 worth of them. Because I'm pretty sure you could get more daisies, lillies and tulips with $90 than roses.
I'm pretty sure I just set the record of ellipses used in a blog ... oh well.
